Senior Sous Chef | Rainbow Beach Hotel We’re looking for a Senior Sous Chef, the right hand to our Head Chef, who can run the kitchen when they are not on site, create memorable dishes and keep the operation running smoothly. About The Role In this role, you’ll be a pivotal part of our dynamic kitchen team, crafting dining experiences that excite and delight our guests. You’ll be the ‘chips to our gravy’. A day in the life of a Senior Sous Chef Key member of the leadership team, supporting the Head Chef to ensure every service is flawless. Take charge of shifts, mentor the team and keep kitchen standards razor‑sharp. Inspire the crew with expertise and a can‑do attitude, ensuring every plate is a work of art. Inherent Requirements This hands‑on role involves manual handling and lifting (moving stock, kegs, deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform these physical tasks safely and efficiently. About You Solid experience as a Sous Chef in a high‑volume pub or similar setting. Current cooking credentials and food safety certifications. A natural‑born leader who commands respect with skill and a calm approach.
