The Services team work together to ensure clients have a positive first impression to support and enhance the Gilbert + Tobin brand. The team look after a wide variety of areas such as the mail room, print room, facilities management, front of house, meeting room and events management, work health and safety and other ad hoc administrative projects. The Print Room Operator is responsible for creating a positive first impression for all internal clients to support and enhance the reputation of the Services team at Gilbert + Tobin. You will provide a professional service and ensure all requests are completed accurately and on time. This role is a parental leave cover for a period of 12 months, the working hours are 11am – 8pm Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Prioritise and coordinate job requests to ensure efficient outcomes Keep requestors informed of progress and negotiate deadlines Use advanced printing and photocopying techniques to complete work Produce USBs for transaction bibles Demonstrate attention to detail and a focus on quality in all reproduced documents Identify equipment problems, perform troubleshooting and arrange service calls when required At times, you may need to assist with mailroom duties, eg. sorting mail and couriers. About you You bring a practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to support a fast-paced Services team. You will have: Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and basic typing experience Experience in a high-volume printing and copying environment Experience converting Microsoft Office files to PDF, including formatting Excel workbooks for print Experience using Fiery Command Workstation Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage a high workload and prioritise to meet tight deadlines Strong attention to detail and organisation skills What we offer Gilbert + Tobin will offer you a friendly, flexible and professional working environment.
