The Cleaning Coordinator plays a crucial part of our organisation by working in partnership with relative stakeholders to ensure that all areas of the school are clean and maintained to a high standard, providing a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for students, staff, visitors and the wider community. This role is based at our Mount Nathan Campus located in a beautiful bush setting in the Gold Coast Hinterland. This role will also have oversight of the Senior School Robina Campus and may at times require you to work from Robina. It goes without saying that you will need to have great interpersonal and communication skills, strive to work in partnership, an eye for detail with a customer focus. Key Result Areas Management of Cleaning Contractors: Act as the primary liaison between the school and the external cleaning contractors, to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across all facilities Facilities Hygiene Management: Manages all aspects of facilities hygiene, ensuring clearing operations align with organisational standards and regulations Quality Assurance and Standards Compliance: Ensure the school environment is clean, safe and compliant with hygiene and Health and Safety standards Operational Leadership: Work in partnership the department leadership team to support and progress the area mission and attend to operational leadership processes Silkwood is a special place to work, and we want to see you thrive.
