About the Role We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader to join our Complex Supports Team in Hobart and surrounds. In this full-time role, you will lead and support a team of Support Workers, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and person-centred care for participants with complex support needs. As a Team Leader, you’ll be the driving force behind a cohesive, high-performing team — ensuring operational excellence while fostering a culture of empathy, respect, and professionalism. Core Objectives Your key responsibilities will include: Coordinate, plan, and execute workflow activities. Coordinate office and field personnel work in line with participant goals. Ensure the smooth running of the team on a daily basis. Provide feedback, coaching, mentoring, and training to support professional growth. Manage staff schedules and delegate work effectively. Chair staff meetings to provide direction and discuss areas for improvement. Ensure workplace materials and documentation are maintained in line with legal and best-practice standards. Manage and lead the team by communicating goals, setting deadlines, and motivating staff to achieve their best. Monitor team performance and keep management informed of day-to-day operations, team performance, and participant feedback. Report any WHS issues identified in participants’ homes. Support your team to see projects and tasks through to completion. Understand your team’s strengths and weaknesses to optimise performance. Be a positive role model who embodies Care Force’s values. Work towards both organisational and participant goals. Set and maintain high standards across all aspects of service delivery. Demonstrate empathy and emotional intelligence when supporting participants and staff. Ensure all team members understand their role expectations and responsibilities. About You We’re looking for a compassionate, organised, and proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic environment. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role within disability or community services. A relevant qualification (e.g. Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent). A sound understanding of person-centred and trauma-informed care principles. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Current Driver’s Licence, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
