The Opportunity: It doesn't happen often that we have the opportunity of offering an experienced Merchandise/Category Manager to join our team. We are seeking a talented, dynamic, and commercially savvy individual with demonstrable experience of retail category management, driving innovation and leading a capable team. You will have overall responsibility for the growth and profitability of the category. Duties and responsibilities include: Optimise sales and profit, managing inventory to annual budget targets Leadership of the category team Development and execution of a customer focussed category strategy in a Trans-Tasman omni-channel retail business Identifying market/product opportunities Development of product ranges and competitive promotional calendar Range reviews Development of strong internal and external relationships Maintain effective relationships with domestic and OS Suppliers About you: An experienced Category/Product Manager, Buyer or Account Manager who is results focussed, with a dynamic, go-getter mentality, ensuring your category always exceeds customer expectations and delivers strong commercial outcomes.
