Overview Associate - Dispute Resolution (Restructuring & Insolvency) role. The opportunity is with Baker McKenzie’s Dispute Resolution & Restructuring & Insolvency group. The position is located in Melbourne and targets a lawyer with 2 - 4 years’ PQE. About You 2 - 4 years’ PQE in commercial litigation (restructuring & insolvency experience valued but not a pre-requisite); relevant experience in a top tier or leading international law firm (preferred); a strong client service focus; strong technical, drafting and commercial skills; business development aptitude, interest, and experience; excellent analytical, written and oral communication, and legal research skills; a commitment to high standards and attention to detail; an ability to develop strong relationships with clients and take responsibility for these relationships; an ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity; an ability to work well in a team environment (including across Australian offices and internationally); a willingness to learn; a willingness to develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences; relevant legal qualifications; and a strong academic background.
