Lecturer/Senior Lecturer – Sonography School of Medical and Health Sciences Joondalup Campus Salary: $117,905 – $139,307 (Level B) or $143,582 – $164,982 (Level C) Employment Type: Full‑time Location: Joondalup, Western Australia, Australia Edith Cowan University invites applications for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer position in the Sonography team within the School of Medical and Health Sciences. The role is located on our Joondalup Campus and supports our commitment to delivering world‑class teaching, research and professional development. About the Opportunity The Sonography team excels in teaching and research and works closely with local, national and international health‑care organisations to offer undergraduate and postgraduate education. With campuses in both Joondalup and Bunbury and a new City campus on the horizon, alongside contemporary digital learning technologies, the team produces excellent clinicians and future health leaders. About You As a Lecturer, you will deliver contemporary high‑quality teaching, develop innovative and evidence‑informed content, and coordinate units. You will teach within the undergraduate and/or postgraduate components of the Sonography programme and may take part in developing short courses for continuing professional development. Graduates will gain core knowledge and skills in applied anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, ultrasound imaging systems, image recognition, patient assessment, communication, critical thinking, physics, occupational health and safety, infection control, quality assurance and professional reflective practice.
