However our beautiful customers follow up their intensive program with weekly sessions - so our therapists not only get exposure and diversity but build the relationships and consistency with the kids too Before applying, we encourage you to visit our NAPA website and learn more about our services, values and culture About The Role Speech Pathologists at NAPA Centre complete skilled assessments and provide intervention to infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents with disorders that affect development of motor, cognitive, and behavioural skills within the professional scope of practice. The role will require all therapists to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based interventions to patients with complex communication and feeding needs. Role and Program Structure NAPA Centre offers our customers intensive three-week programs (Mon–Friday only) utilising highly innovative and evidence-based therapy methods and technology, from all around the globe, which is supported by weekly sessions. We have a proven track-record of helping children achieve and even surpassing their physical goals. We have a strong framework in multi-disciplinary rehabilitation and early intervention, and use diverse techniques of traditional and non-traditional therapies. Each of our programs are tailored to each individual child’s specific needs, which in some cases involves a combination of speech and language therapy, feeding therapy, and/or AAC training. About The Therapist Your qualifications include completion of at least a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology), from an accredited University. You have clinical experience - ideally 2 years post graduate Speech Pathology experience You have current registration /membership with SPA. You love what you do and have the ability to create a safe, professional, and supportive environment where clients, families and colleagues feel empowered to succeed. You communicate confidently and effectively with clients and other medical professionals. You demonstrates a level of professional empathy towards clients and the ability to develop rapport. You're a team player that can demonstrate the NAPA values; working as part of multi-disciplinary team to advance a clients needs.
