In addition to its academic offerings, the college also provides an accommodation placement service that matches students with homestay families for cultural exchange, as well as student residence options for more independent students. The Accommodation Coordinator plays a key role in delivering transformative living experiences and exceptional customer service to agents and partners. Job Duties Accommodation Management Under supervision of the National Accommodation Director, manage homestay and student residence requests and placements. Liaise with host families and ensure successful placements. Facilitate accommodation extension requests from current students. Handle accommodation questions, issues and complaints, escalating to appropriate team members as needed. Manage underage student placements with special duty of care in accordance with ESOS Act regulations. Arrange airport pick‑ups and drop‑offs for students, including supporting weekend arrivals with the emergency phone. Handle cancellation requests and calculate refunds as per ILSC policies. Answer advisor, agent and registration questions about accommodation. Update accommodation software with inquiries, reservations, confirmed bookings, changes and cancellations. Submit weekly homestay family payments to the finance team. Homestay Family Recruitment Under supervision of the National Accommodation Director, recruit new homestay families by developing leads through social media campaigns, referral programs and website inquiries. Conduct phone interviews with potential families to determine suitability for the program. Conduct home visits (physical and virtual) to confirm suitability of student placement. Ensure family members comply with necessary police checks and work with children checks. Onboard successful families into the system and facilitate contract signing and bank details communication to finance. Conduct annual compliance checks with families. Other Duties Actively uphold ILSC's mission, vision and core values. Attend general staff and team meetings and training sessions as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes Able to respond promptly to enquiries from students, agents and sales teams. Collaborative, able to find information and work with other departments. Flexible, able to adjust to changing priorities. Strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills. Effective oral and written communication in English. Time and system management abilities. Planning, organising and prioritising skills. Specialized Skills Excellent written and oral communication in English. Strong computer skills, including cloud‑based software and CRMs. Experience in hospitality and/or student accommodation or services is a plus. Proven customer service skills. Education and Experience Required Certificate and/or Diploma in hospitality, business administration, marketing, customer service or other relevant fields is a plus. Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in customer service and/or hospitality is a plus. Other Requirements Full‑time work rights for Australia required.
