Let the Journey begin As a Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant at KINNECT at our Wollongong based clinic, your role will be diverse, offering a wide range of responsibilities across workplace rehabilitation and injury prevention services. Responsibilities Deliver workplace rehabilitation services that help individuals engage in meaningful occupations through a client‑centered approach, promoting optimal health and well‑being. Assess injured workers to determine the best strategies for facilitating their return to work. Visit workplaces to understand the challenges injured workers may face and educate employers on injury prevention. Provide clinical opinions and justifications through detailed report writing. Case‑manage complex injuries and coordinate with treating doctors and health professionals to support injured workers in their recovery and return to work. In addition to rehabilitation services, you will partner with various organizations to deliver a range of other services, such as: Conducting pre‑employment assessments, including drug & alcohol testing, audiology, spirometry, vision, and functional testing. Developing job dictionaries. Leading interactive manual‑handling training and implementing stretching and warm‑up programmes. Conducting ergonomic assessments in the workplace, home, and vehicle settings.
