Business Development Manager - Cloud and Digital We are seeking a driven, resourceful, and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to join our team at Kodez. This is a new business acquisition role—you will be responsible for building new relationships, uncovering opportunities, and driving revenue growth. Department: Sales Location: Melbourne Core Responsibilities Business Development and Revenue Growth Develop a 6-Month Business Development Strategy to showcase and uplift Kodez's strengths in Cloud and Digital, Identity and Security, and Data and AI. Build robust sales pipelines: create and manage strong pipelines targeting customers in Melbourne and Sydney, ensuring a steady flow of high-value opportunities. Lead new business development: oversee account planning, opportunity management, and target mapping to identify and secure new accounts. Client Relationship Management Cultivate and nurture relationships to drive trust, loyalty, and repeat business. Position Kodez as a trusted partner for consulting, delivery, and managed services. Market Expansion Identify and penetrate new customer segments and industry verticals, focusing on AI and Identity / Security as high-growth areas. Collaboration and Brand Visibility Work closely with technical, operations, and marketing teams to drive initiatives that generate qualified leads and enhance Kodez's brand visibility. Leadership and Strategy Define and track quarterly KPIs aligned with revenue goals, including lead generation, conversion rates, and deal size. Align commercial strategies with Kodez's overall business objectives. What We're Looking For Strong interpersonal skills with a human-first approach. Technical foundation knowledge in Cloud, Digital, Identity & Security, and awareness of AI trends. Proven ability to generate new business and build relationships without relying on inbound leads. Background in IT professional services or product sales with a desire to transition into services. Self-starter mindset who is motivated, resourceful, and innovative.
