Company Overview
Our client is a dynamic and growing organisation in the retail industry, renowned for its dedication to excellence and strong community connections. With an expanding footprint and a focus on innovation, they're seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Business Partner (HR-BP) to join their team.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, this role offers the perfect blend of strategic and hands-on responsibilities. As the HR-BP, you'll play a critical role in shaping HR strategies, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Partner with senior leaders to design and implement HR initiatives that align with the company's goals and support long-term growth.
* Succession Planning: Develop and maintain effective succession plans for key management roles.
* Employee Relations & Compliance: Offer expert guidance on performance management, HR policies, and compliance with employment laws.
* Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment for senior roles, ensuring the best talent is hired and prepared for success.
* Learning & Development: Manage content creation and operations for the company's e-learning platform within UKG.
* Organisational Support: Provide HR advice and support to stores, handling end-to-end processes and queries raised through the One Stop Shop.
* Change Management: Oversee organisational change initiatives, including restructuring and team transitions.
* Visa Management: Handle visa processes for international applicants and current team members.
* Workers Compensation: Manage cases from start to finish, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
About You
You're a seasoned HR professional with a retail background and a passion for driving people-focused solutions. You bring:
* 4+ years of HR experience in a retail or similar fast-paced environment.
* Strong knowledge of employment laws, award rates, and industry compliance.
* A proven ability to manage change and foster employee development.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
* A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).
