Richglen Maintenace Services is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Mackay and Bowen Basin region. In this position, the successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of our shutdown projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager to address technical and engineering matters, while also providing support to project staff. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that the goals and objectives of Richglen Maintenance Services are successfully met. Based out of our brand-new Mackay office in Paget, you’ll split time between the office and project sites in the Bowen Basin. Key responsibilities: Provide project engineering support for major shutdown projects, ensuring smooth planning and execution. Assist the delivery team with tendering, labour breakdown schedules, forecasting, design reviews, and contract deadlines while maintaining budget targets. Compile data to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive work packages and quality management plans for mechanical scopes. Establish systems and processes to manage project control documentation and track project performance, including schedule, cost, and reporting through the required systems. Assist in managing customer support and maintaining good relationships, communication, and responsiveness with clients.
