Due to an internal promotions, we are recruiting a new Key Account Manager. As Key Account Manager, you will be playing an important role in joint business planning, and managing of key accounts. The primary purpose of this role is to strategically manage and develop a portfolio of clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty while identifying opportunities for business expansion. The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. Reporting to the Southern Sales Manager, this position has a strong focus on new business pipeline through developing and maintaining lead with both new business for both existing and new customers. A background in ingredient sales, grocery sales or food science are preferable, and experience from any culinary background is advantageous. This role empowers its position holder to show their creativity and knowledge of food and cuisine. This role would also suit someone with a background in Poultry or Meat processing. Our preference for this role would include: 1 year plus experience managing key accounts in FMCG 2 years plus experience in the food manufacturing industry Minimum of 2 years experience in the food manufacturing industry is required Preferred previous Key Account experience within the FMCG Industry Ability to work in a fast pace environment with a business with large growth goals High level business acumen Proven ability to develop new business Excellent presentation and organisational skills Experience in developing sales strategies and plans Highly experienced with new product developments (NPD) Track record in managing large accounts and relationship management Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Project management process understanding This role will be based in Braeside Melbourne at our head office on Governor Road or in our NSW Office. Some interstate travel would be required to meet with key clients.
