Fairdex Pty Ltd (project management, landscaping, environmental restoration) is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our small close‑knit team. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. As our Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting functions. This position has become available due to the retirement, after 22 years, of our highly valued Administration Manager. Responsibilities Performing day‑to‑day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and managing accounts payable and receivable Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and payroll Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date financial records and reports Preparing and lodging BAS Preparing cash flows and budgets Providing administrative support to the Director Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally within a small practice or similar business environment Certificate IV in Bookkeeping qualification at the time of application Proficiency in both Xero and Reckon One accounting software is required Strong attention to detail and data entry skills Excellent time management and organisational abilities Good communication and customer service skills A flexible and adaptable approach to work Ability to work independently Australian work rights required for this position Commitment to work 20-30 hours per week Benefits Flexible work hours to accommodate your schedule Fully remote – all work conducted from home Attractive salary commensurate with experience If you're ready to join our team, we encourage you to apply now #J-18808-Ljbffr
