The Gladstone and Banana Allied Health Clinical Network consists of six on site Health Practitioner professions: Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Psychology and Social Work. In addition to the generalist services provided, the Allied Health professions provide two targeted service areas, namely developmental paediatrics and cancer care. Senior Allied Health clinicians have regular contact with senior staff within the hospital and across CQ Health. Regular communication occurs with the professional seniors and the Gladstone / Banana Allied Health Clinical Network Manager. About the role: The Speech Pathologist works as a member of the Gladstone and Banana Allied Health Team(s) providing comprehensive, effective and efficient Speech Pathology services to stakeholders/customers of CQ Health. Services provided are of a varied caseload complexity, spanning the continuum of care that includes service provision to patients/clients within inpatient, outpatient and community clinical settings. About you: Possession of a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology from a recognised tertiary institution is mandatory for this position. Upcoming graduates awaiting conferral of qualifications and registration will be considered for this role. Overseas qualified applicants require a “certification of eligibility” letter from Speech Pathology Australia to be included in their application to be considered for short‑listing in the selection process.
