About You Treasury is looking for a motivated and capable Revenue Officer to join our Revenue Branch to undertake taxation, grant and rebate assessments, education and compliance activities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to improving the wellbeing of Tasmanians, by engaging in the efficient administration of Tasmania’s taxation, grant and rebate laws. You will have sound judgement combined with strong analytical and communication skills. Working as part of a small, dedicated and professional team, your success requires the ability to analyse complex issues; clearly communicate to stakeholders; and demonstrate initiative. This role suits someone who has experience dealing with stakeholders, is organised and proactive, makes sound decisions, and fosters a positive team environment. The branch administers a number of grants, determines taxation objections and ensures that taxpayers are compliant with State taxation and grant legislation. Hours per fortnight Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part time hours.
