Job Title Senior Receptionist – Katoomba (Part Time or Full Time) About Katoomba Medical Katoomba Medical Practice is committed to delivering quality, accessible healthcare across the Region. They are a community based practice and fully computerised, focusing on innovation, culture, and exceptional patient care. The Opportunity This challenging role will involve managing a busy front desk reception, liaising with patients, supporting doctors and medical staff, and handling general administration duties. The successful candidate will assist the Practice Manager with day‑to‑day operations of running a busy multi‑disciplinary medical practice. Key Responsibilities Welcome patients, collect and enter patient details, and answer telephone calls and enquiries. Schedule appointments when required and perform general reception duties. Support the Practice Manager with ad‑hoc administrative duties and daily operations. Open and close the medical centre. Foster professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff. Maintain compliance with organisational policies and procedures. The Ideal Candidate Previous team leadership experience within a customer service role. Ability to work well under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills; knowledge of Pracsoft / MedTech is advantageous. Excellent time‑management skills and ability to multi‑task. Detail‑oriented.
