How to Apply If you're ready to take the next step, please submit your resume and/or cover letter Qualifications A caring & friendly personality Effective multi-tasking Maintenance of professional appearance & attitude Minimum 1 year experience as a dental receptionist and assistant is essential Other experience within the medical sector will be highly regarded Tasks & Responsibilities Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures. Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary. Providing great patient care. Recording treatment information in patient records. Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs. Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist. Patient management: greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone inquiries, making & confirming appointments, checking, processing & managing customer accounts. Preparations for patient appointments: treatment after-care instructions, forms, etc. Communicating with doctors regarding patient's dental treatment schedule. Restocking any insufficient office materials. Communicating with third parties (i.e. dental labs) to follow up orders, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
