The Royal Hospital for Women is a multi‑faceted tertiary referral and teaching hospital, internationally recognised as a leading centre for the care of mothers, babies, and women with benign gynaecological and gyna‑oncology conditions. The Physiotherapy team supports women, men, and gender‑diverse individuals with conditions related to cancer treatment, pregnancy, menopause, and lymphoedema. They work with patients to assess needs, set personalised goals, and provide tailored treatments and exercise programmes, helping manage symptoms and improve quality of life both now and in the long term. What You’ll Be Doing Coordinate, implement and evaluate effective physiotherapy education and development initiatives for students and existing staff within the Royal Hospital for Women to provide high‑quality physiotherapy care to women and birthing mothers, consistent with NSW Health, SESLHD policies, procedures and standards. Selection Criteria Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Extensive post‑graduate clinical experience in women’s health physiotherapy. Demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills, and an understanding of teaching and learning in the healthcare environment. Excellent negotiation, decision‑making and advocacy skills, including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including education providers. Ability to work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team and to apply independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a complex nature. Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality‑improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes, and to lead ongoing quality‑improvement activities with other staff. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning. Current driver’s licence (or a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
