Tasks & responsibilities Checking in patients upon arrival Conduct billing using Tyro, Medicare, DVA and private invoicing Training will be provided for medical billing systems including Tyro, Medicare, DVA and private invoicing Accept and arrange telephone appointments Interpret, assess and manage patient enquiries to achieve acceptable outcomes Receive electronic and hard-copy medical correspondence, and manage to ensure received and forwarded for further management Intermediate computer proficiency is required for managing electronic medical correspondence and documentation Open and close clinic, ensuring secure integrity of the practice Undertake management of tasks as directed by doctors and other senior practice staff Australian citizenship is required for this position Work days, work hours, and hourly work rate negotiable (based on experience) Work schedule is Monday to Friday only The appropriate candidate will join a strong cohesive and supportive team with high standards and expectations.
