Medical Receptionist - Allied Healthcare North Brisbane Wellness Services – Ferny Hills QLD Function Allied Health is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our growing allied healthcare team based in Ferny Hills. As a Medical Receptionist at our clinics, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality customer service and administrative support to our patients and practitioners. What you'll be doing Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice in a friendly and professional manner Scheduling and managing patient appointments, both in-person and over the phone Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensuring confidentiality Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services Assisting with the processing of payments Ordering and maintaining medical supplies and ensuring the reception area is well-presented Providing general administrative support to the healthcare team as required What we're looking for Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and professional manner Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficient in the use of medical practice management software and Microsoft Office applications A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care Availability to work on either a Permanent Part-Time or Casual basis About us Function Allied Health is a leading allied healthcare provider in the local community.
