Assistant Village Manager

BBB Remote Site Services are seeking to appoint an experienced Supervisor to manage the provision of Services at our remote camps. Principally an 8/6 role, DIDO, the successful applicant will be key to ensuring high quality provision of meals, cleaning, maintenance, onsite camp management, bookings, and check-in/check-out procedures at our camps. Reporting to our Village Manager and Camp Services Manager, you will have the autonomy and support to supervise the camps. Additionally, this role will: Ensure uninterrupted provision of camp services Direct engagement and communications with client management Ensure appropriate staffing is provided and maintained at the camps Promote a safe working place with a focus on employee health & wellbeing Maintain a high level of Customer and Staff satisfaction Hands on role will be required to clean rooms About You We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who has a background in the Remote Site Environment. The role requires demonstrable experience in management of accommodation, food and housekeeping services in regional areas. A passion to deliver quality camp services and promote a happy camp environment is essential. Additional attributes we are looking for include: A minimum of 3 years of remote site experience required A minimum of 1 - 2 years personnel management experience required Personable and can build professional relationships "All-rounder" camp management capability Essential Criteria for this Role SITHFAB021 - Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol First Aid Certificate National Police Check Minimum C class driver's license (must be valid in Australia) Fluent in verbal and written English with good communications skills Attention to detail, flexibility and reliability Able to work independently and as part of a team able to work unrestricted hours Desirable Criteria for this Role Cert III Commercial Cookery Demonstrated knowledge of Food Safety and Workplace SafetyConstruction Induction Card (White Card) Experience working in similar positions in the hospitality or site services industry About Us BBB Remote Site Services is a WA company specialising in the provision of temporary and fixed term remote sites, the provision of camp management and catering services and the rental of commercial site caravans and portable buildings for all applications.
