Volunteers are needed to support and assist people struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. This may include helping a person withdraw from drugs and alcohol safely and successfully, helping the person discover why he took drugs in the first place, assisting the person to eliminate the mental and spiritual damage done by drugs and to detoxify the body of long-term drug residues. In addition the volunteer may assist the person gain tools that will enable him or her to stay off drugs for good.
