This role is a remarkable chance to shape the future of a company known for its innovation in the architectural luminaire sector.

The RoleThe Head ofSales will lead the business development and client engagement functions, aligning with the company's strategic growth goals. The ideal candidate will be skilled in driving business growth and strategic development within the architectural design industry.

The role involves active market engagement, including travel, to cultivate relationships with existing and potential clients and partners, thereby generating new and inbound leads. Working closely with the executive team, the Head ofSales will be instrumental in introducing and realising short, medium, and long-term growth strategies. This position also requires effective development and management of key client relationships.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop and lead the creation of sales strategies, aligning sales and marketing efforts with company growth objectives.Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent opportunities and successful conversions.Build, mentor, and lead the sales team, fostering a culture of engagement and excellence.Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry professionals to drive business growth.Ensure consistent branding and effective communication across all platforms to support sales initiatives.Drive strategic planning and business development, identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities.Lead organisational change to maintain competitive edge.Collaborate with the CEO on business strategies and progress reports.Utilise negotiation skills in stakeholder engagement and business deals.Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Your BackgroundTo excel in this role, you should possess the following qualities and qualifications:Strategic Sales Leadership and Industry Expertise |Senior commercial leader with knowledge in architectural lighting and/or commercial construction/design.Expert in B2B sales, market engagement, new business acquisition, and client experience strategies.Advanced Commercial Acumen and Analytical Skills |Strong commercial insight, proven ROI delivery.Excellent communication, attention to detail, and analytical skills.Resilient, proactive, and adept at driving growth, identifying opportunities and risks.Dynamic Pipeline Management and Decision-Making |Expert in sales pipeline management and strategic decision-making.Proficient in CRM systems, data analysis, and leveraging market insights for business strategy.Exceptional Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management |Exceptional at managing relationships, influencing, and consulting with varied stakeholders.Skilled in maintaining effective relationships, driving business development with strategic communication.
