This role sits within the Social Marketing and Campaigns team and collaborates closely with the BreastScreen NSW Program and Information Management & Technology (IM&T) teams. The Digital Product Owner ensures the website continues to meet user needs, organisational goals, and digital best practices. The role supports the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a range of projects within the Social Marketing and Campaigns team to support the NSW Cancer Plan. It manages and optimises the BreastScreen NSW website, ensuring it remains accurate, user‑friendly, and aligned with branding, paid and organic search activity, accessibility, and performance standards. It supports content editors and page owners and coordinates enhancements and maintains governance frameworks for digital content and functionality. Qualifications and Requirements Tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience in marketing, digital marketing / media design. Demonstrated experience using a Content Management System (CMS) (e.g. Optimizely) to update and manage website content, ensuring accuracy, accessibility and application of high digital standards such as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Demonstrated experience in project management and management of internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Demonstrated experience delivering digital projects including implementation, management and optimisation of websites, SEO and SEM. Demonstrated social media experience, including content planning, community management and media optimisation. Experience in the delivery of public health related communications will be highly regarded.
