Your Role Applications are now invited from qualified educators for the position of Kindergarten Assistant (Inclusion Support) to support St Brendans Catholic Kindergarten Mackay. This is a term‑time contract position for 15 hours per week (5 day fortnight Thursday Friday and alternate Wednesday) commencing from 19 January 2026 (or as negotiated with the successful applicant) until 4 December 2026. This position reports directly to the Kindergarten Director or person appointed to be responsible for the centre. Other key relationships include children families and the Early Learning & Care Manager. As a Kindergarten Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting kindergarten teachers and students in their learning journey. Your responsibilities may include : Assisting with classroom activities including lesson preparation and resource organisation Providing one‑on‑one or small group support to students including students with additional needs. Monitoring student progress and behaviour providing feedback to teachers Assisting with administrative tasks such as record‑keeping and organising educational materials.
