Role Title: Manager Review Clerk Grade: 11/12 Employment Type: Ongoing/ Permanent role, Full-time Hybrid vs In-office requirements: Location flexible across Revenue NSW offices with hybrid working. Weekly attendance at Parramatta would be preferred. The Review Team sits within the Advisory & Review area of Technical Advisory Services. The team conducts independent reviews of tax assessments and decisions made by the Chief Commissioner of State Revenue. It is a high-performing, collaborative team who are committed to accuracy, customer service, fairness and innovation. Your day-to-day You lead and manage a team handling more than 4,500 objections per year, to assessments and decisions across various state taxes, duties, levies, and grants. You ensure fair, accurate, and timely resolution of matters in line with legislative requirements and statutory timeframes while maintaining high-quality customer service. You improve decision-making consistency and quality by sharing technical knowledge and legal precedents and collaborate across the various business areas to support sound and defensible outcomes. You identify and communicate emerging trends and issues that impact policy, legislation, training, and customer education. You engage with stakeholders on legislative projects and compliance initiatives to achieve corporate objectives. You drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and knowledge sharing to enhance efficiency and capability.
