We’re looking for an IT Helpdesk Technician to join us in Melbourne — someone who thrives on solving problems, supporting people, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. What You’ll Do Provide Level 1–2 technical support across Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, security tools and end‑user devices Respond to helpdesk tickets, triage issues and ensure timely, accurate resolutions Assist with user onboarding/offboarding including device setup and system access Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues with care and precision Escalate complex issues to senior engineers as needed Maintain documentation and contribute to improving internal processes Support project delivery, deployments and upgrades across client environments Build trust with clients through friendly, proactive and solution‑focused communication About You Experience in a helpdesk or IT support role (or relevant qualification such as Cert III/IV, Diploma or equivalent) Solid understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, basic networking and endpoint security Excellent communication skills — you enjoy helping people and explaining technical concepts simply A proactive problem‑solver with strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a dynamic, growing environment A growth mindset — you’re ready to learn, adapt and contribute to a scaling team Baseline or higher security clearance (or ability to obtain one) is highly regarded Why Join Secure State Be part of our Melbourne expansion and help shape our Victorian presence Work with defence, government and innovative businesses Supportive leadership, training and clear career‑development pathways Opportunities to specialise in cybersecurity, cloud and compliance frameworks A culture built on trust, transparency and putting people first #J-18808-Ljbffr
