Job Description Elastomers Australia are seeking an experienced and hands on National of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) with a background in the Manufacturing Industry to join our team. The role is based in Campbellfield but would involve travel to other Manufacturing plants based in Thomastown and Sunshine, as well as interstate offices from time to time. Duties Develop and drive OH&S & QA requirements by complying with current company policies and procedures as well as any new initiatives to further develop the existing OH&S functions Complete internal and external audits as well as risk assessments Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis of incidents, implement corrective actions and conduct regular reviews of the implemented controls Coordinate effective consultation and communication with all levels of employees Work closely with the HR / Training team to ensure training registers are completed and maintained Deliver OH&S training Implement and monitor OH&S rules and guidelines to ensure compliance with the legislation Requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar type role within a manufacturing environment Minimum Diploma in OH&S A demonstrated in-depth knowledge of OH&S legislation Proven ability to lead a team of OHS professionals Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to communicate and develop rapport with all relevant stakeholders both internal and external Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment Ability to multitask and operate with a high degree of autonomy Ability to drive safety initiatives and apply best practices Knowledge of Australian mining processes and the various legislation (Desirable) Diversity & Inclusion At Elastomers Australia, diversity and inclusion are part of our DNA.
