Join to apply for the HSE Manager role at Design Build Position: HSE Manager Company: Principal/Head Contractor Project: $mulit-billion infrastructure project Location: FIFO 2:1 Roster Salary: $300-330k TFR Opportunity to work for a Tier 1 contractor on a major infrastructure project Site Based role 3+ years work left Responsibilities Lead site-wide HSE team and ensure compliance in line with regulatory, contractual and ISO-certified management systems. Develop, implement and maintain site-specific HSE programs, plans and risk assessments. Supervise and mentor the on-site HSE team, ensuring proactive preparation for upcoming works. Conduct audits, inspections and HSE reviews, providing expert advice and driving corrective actions. Manage incident investigations, reporting, root-cause analysis and close-out of actions. Deliver HSE reporting, training and coaching to project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders. Champion continuous improvement, environmental initiatives and ESG-related activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in HSE, Environmental Science, Engineering or similar, with 8+ years in HSE management roles. Strong knowledge of safety legislation and construction/project environments. Demonstrated success developing and implementing HSE programs on complex construction, mining, O&G, or heavy-industry projects. Proven leadership capability with experience managing HSE teams and influencing diverse stakeholders.
