About Us Western Work Force is an Australian-owned recruitment, labour-hire, and contracting services provider specialising in the mining, construction, and industrial maintenance sectors. We partner with leading operators to connect skilled professionals to roles that value safety, integrity, and high performance. Role Overview We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee our client's operations across the Bunbury and Collie region. This is a key leadership role responsible for the delivery and continual improvement of all health, safety, and environmental systems across multiple sites. While primarily based in the South West, the role includes occasional site travel as required (all travel expenses covered). You'll lead a small HSE team and liaise closely with operational leadership to ensure compliance, incident management, training, and cultural uplift across the board. Key Responsibilities Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of HSE policies and procedures Lead and mentor HSE personnel across site and regional operations Conduct and review risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits Engage with stakeholders to drive a proactive, safety-first culture Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting in line with WA legislationDeliver safety-related training, inductions, and toolbox sessions where required Report HSE performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement Support operational teams in addressing field-level risks and system gaps Essential Qualifications and Experience Diploma or higher in WHS, OHS or related discipline Proven experience in a HSE Manager or Senior HSE Advisor role Background in mining, construction, or heavy industrial environments Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proactive mindset Familiarity with WA safety legislation, audit frameworks, and contractor management systems Valid driver's licence and ability to pass pre-employment medical / D&A Based in or willing to relocate to the Bunbury / Collie region (local accommodation / travel flexibility considered) Benefits Full-time managerial role with a reputable regional contractor Based in Bunbury / Collie with occasional site travel (fully paid) Competitive remuneration based on experience Company vehicle or allowance negotiable Long-term stability with a supportive leadership team How to Apply If you meet the above criteria and are ready to lead HSE across key regional projects, please email your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and availability to #J-18808-Ljbffr
