Key Responsibilities Partner with Project / Operations Management to deliver initiatives that are relevant to the project, client and/or location and drive project and business strategy. Actively promote and implement the HSE Management System in compliance with relevant HSE legislation. Deliver services largely tactical in nature with day‑to‑day direction determined by business needs. Develop, implement and monitor the HSE Management System, safety procedures, documentation and audit system in conjunction with the overall HSE Management System. Assist with audits conducted on HSE project compliance. Support the UGL tendering process and client engagement in relation to project reviews. Develop and monitor the HSE Key Performance Indicators. Liaise with customers, regulatory bodies responsible for HSE and ensure compliance and compatibility with their systems and processes. Work closely with the Injury Management and P&C Teams to support the implementation of return‑to‑work programs and procedures to ensure that all injuries are managed according to Company and legislative requirements. Monitor and review the HSE risk profile of contracts and projects to identify areas of improvement. Investigate HSE incidents and occurrences to manage corrective actions and ensure that Company and legislative reporting protocols are maintained. Contribute to the strategic business plan in relation to identified HSE risks and issues. Maintain processes to confirm contractors / suppliers are sourced, assessed, employed, managed and supervised in accordance with UGL’s HSE and procurement requirements. Ideal Attributes Degree qualified in an HSE, or equivalent. Extensive experience in HSE Management in a high‑risk industry, preferably Electrical Transmission and Distribution. Demonstrated capability to develop and implement HSE management systems. Experience in leading incident investigations.
