B&E Services QLD Pty Ltd is a subsidiary under the conglomerate of B&E Groups (BE Foods), which is an Australian food processor and wide distributor of foods and groceries supplies. We are now looking for a full-time Supply and Distribution Manager with position details are as follows: Position Supply and Distribution Manager Roles and Duties Determine and implement the strategies and policies for procurement, storage and distribution for the operation of BE Foods in Queensland. Maintain and keep necessary supply levels at a low cost and challenge the sources of supply that are currently being used and try to reduce costs without sacrificing food safety. Negotiating agreements with suppliers on credit terms, pricing, and delivery, with aim to minimize costs. Keep track of storage and inventory database systems so as to place orders and maintain proper stock level to meet the demands from the customers. Management of all outbound and inbound freights whether by own fleets or contractors, track all movements of supplies and finished goods to ensure a healthy stock level; Applying the company’s safety management systems in all logistics activities and to seek continuous improvement in safety with prevention of incident and mitigation of risk; Maintain accurate purchase, storage, sales, and distribution records Promote and lead a continuous improvement mindset and a culture of accountability among logistics staff and all stakeholders Requirements The Candidate needs to possess: Qualification: degree or relevant experience in supply and logistics operation. Hands‑on work experience of working as Supply and Distribution Manager within the food supply industry. Excellent communication skills, attention to details in production process, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
