We’re on the hunt for an experienced Training & Development Manager who is ready to take our learning programs to the next level. Based in Winston Hills and reporting to our Group Human Resources Manager, this role is all about bringing energy, creativity, and strategy to how we develop our people. You’ll design and deliver impactful learning experiences, partner with leaders to drive capability, and help shape a culture where continuous learning is part of who we are. With some clear targets already set for 2026, hitting the ground running will be key What you’ll be doing: Developing and facilitating in-house training sessions and programs Engaging with managers to identify, develop and deliver specific industry skills training Coordinating the development, delivery and evaluation of a suite of Leadership Development programs Coordinating educational assistance and study leave programmes Developing and implementing a group training management system Providing a consultancy service to managers & employees on all things L&D Sourcing appropriate branch specific training Developing and coordinating corporate work experience and traineeship / internship / graduate programs in partnership with tertiary agencies Developing and coordinating a mentoring program for high potentials Working in our Success Factors/SAP based HRIS system, globally created for COLAS Group Preparing reports on training effectiveness About you: Tertiary Qualifications in Training, Human Resources or equivalent experience Proven experience in designing, delivering and evaluating learning programs in an operation of significant size for at least five years Experience within in a TMS system to design and track programs Strong presentation and facilitation skills – you can capture a room and keep it engaged A knack for connecting with people at all levels and inspiring growth Ability to travel as required – this is a national role The Company COLAS Australia, a leader in the Road Construction and Maintenance Industry, continues to expand its operations throughout Australia and New Zealand as a company which is now supported locally by over 700 employees, across 15 work sites in 5 states.
