About the role We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Management and Business Resilience Manager to enhance the Women’s preparedness, response and recovery capabilities during significant and disruptive events. In this pivotal role you will lead the development and coordination of emergency management (EM), business continuity management (BCM) and disaster recovery (DR) frameworks. You will work closely with key stakeholders to build capability, drive cross‑organisational collaboration and ensure the Women’s is prepared to respond effectively to any disruption. Key responsibilities Act as Secretariat for key committees, oversee frameworks, and ensure compliance in EM/BCM/DR Design and deliver emergency training, simulations, and evacuation drills, building staff and leadership capability Co‑ordinate post‑incident debriefs, produce reports, and drive continuous improvement and innovative resilience initiatives Partner with the Parkville Local Health Service Network to optimise resources, and monitor and report on resilience activities to maintain quality and safety This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the safety and resilience of our organisation, while developing your expertise and working alongside a passionate team committed to excellence in emergency management About you You will be someone with proven expertise in emergency management, business continuity and disaster recovery, with a track record of strengthening preparedness systems and building organisational resilience.
