Aus Cosmetics is one of the top skin care product contract manufacturers in Australia, producing a broad range of cosmetic and personal care goods. Part of the Activ Pharmaceuticals Group, Aus Cosmetics provides a complete manufacturing service from procurement of formulation through to dispatchment. Based in Taren Point, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed person to work with the production team and quality team, making cosmetic products. The key responsibilities of this role will be: Leading formulation resolutions with the production and quality team Completing new product laboratory and pilot manufacturing trials Assessing raw materials for use and formulation substitution Supporting the Quality Manager with compliance for ISO22716 and ISO9001 Supporting the release of raw materials, packaging and finished products Supporting production with non-conformance investigations and complaints Completion of required GMP documentation About You: Some tertiary qualification in science or cosmetic formulation Good knowledge of skin care and hair care products Understanding the applications of mixers, homogeniser, pumps etc. Good communication skills, both written and verbal (English) Demonstrated understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices Ability to work in a team, reliable and with a desire to learn In return Aus Cosmetics will provide: 38-hour week with a 2:00pm finish on Friday Working with a friendly, supportive team Immediate start A safe and structured working environment Equal opportunities and committed support for career enhancement and training An inclusive and ethical workplace culture.
