Case management, working with young people and carers Support kinship carers to consistently meet the developmental needs of children in their care Full time, limited tenure, based at our office in Yarraville Your role : Have a passion for working with children and young people impacted by trauma who reside in out of home care Have creative thinking and problem-solving skills to engage those who might be resistant to supports Committed to achieving positive outcomes for carers, young people and their families Work collaboratively with their team and team leader Continuously liaise with DFFH Child Protection The skills we want you to use day to day : The agility and skill to engage with complex individuals A good knowledge of and a trauma informed approach Strong administrative skills and ability to meet timelines Sophisticated understanding of the legislative, policy and practice environment of Out of Home Care and a passion for learning. Strong engagement, communication, advocacy and conflict resolution skills Strong written communication Strong networking and stakeholder engagement to promote the Best Interests of children Demonstrated experience in case management. What you need to know : A salary at SCHCADS level 5 which equates to around $94,000 plus super. Full time hours, limited tenure commencing November until August Based at our fantastically located office in Yarraville. Office based with some flex to work from home but responsive to change.
