As a Technology Risk Governance Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to empower members to achieve their goals - while you advance your own. In this role, you'll: Drive Strategic Governance: Work with senior leaders to coordinate and deliver the Group’s Technology Risk Forum activities, including agenda design, pack development, and insightful minute-taking that shapes executive decision-making. Elevate Risk Culture: Champion initiatives that uplift risk culture, embedding best practices and fostering a proactive, action-oriented mindset across the organisation. Deliver Impactful Reporting: Prepare and present data-driven, actionable risk insights for senior forums (e.g., Board Risk Committee, Technology Transformation Committee), ensuring our leaders have the clarity to make bold, informed and responsible decisions. Lead Regulatory Engagement: Orchestrate internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory submissions—ensuring our technology risk posture not only meets but anticipates regulatory expectations. Shape the Risk Strategy: Contribute to the annual review and evolution of the Technology Board Risk Appetite Statement and Risk Management Framework, aligning them with our strategic ambitions and regulatory landscape. Build Collaborative Partnerships: Engage with senior managers and risk teams to strengthen governance, drive compliance, and deliver outcomes that matter. This role is a permanent opportunity. Location Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: You’re a natural communicator and relationship builder, energized by solving complex problems and influencing outcomes at the highest levels. You bring: Proven experience in technology or operational risk, ideally within Australian financial services. A strategic mindset and understanding of risk governance, analytics, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., APRA Prudential Standards). Demonstrated ability to coordinate audits, regulatory engagements, and cultural change initiatives. The confidence to work with senior stakeholders, juggle competing priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
