Junior Engineer – Civil Construction

About the role We are seeking a talented Junior Engineer to join our growing team at Tradetech Services (Aust.) Pty Ltd. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in supporting our civil construction projects across the region. What you'll be doing Starting in an office-based role, supporting the field supervisors on delivery, learn all the associated processes required for the projects, from the ground up Assist in the design and development of civil engineering plans and specifications for a range of construction projects Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess project requirements and monitor progress Prepare technical reports, cost estimates and other project documentation Liaise with contractors, clients and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects Support the project management team with scheduling, resource planning and risk mitigation Provide technical advice and guidance to construction crews on-site Maintain compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards What we're looking for Enthusiasm to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in and being proactive about task completion A bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field 0-2 years of experience in a civil engineering or construction role Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, design methods and construction practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively tackle complex engineering challenges Proficiency in using relevant software tools such as CAD, project management and design applications Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams A passionate and proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development What we offer Ongoing training and development opportunities A collaborative and inclusive team culture that celebrates diversity and innovation About us Tradetech Services (Aust.)
