Verdure Financial Planning Solutions – Melbourne VIC We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Administrator to join our team. As a web administrator, you will be responsible for managing our web technology services for SMSF Insurance Specialists Pty Ltd t/a Verdure Financial Planning Solutions. This includes managing our internal CRM software and insurance data-feed management platform for our associated business, CDM Solutions Services Pty Ltd. Main Duties/ Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx, IIS) and related software. Manage user access and ensure appropriate permissions, authentication, and security measures are in place. Monitor performance of websites and servers, ensuring uptime, load handling, and responsiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web applications, connectivity, hosting, and server errors. Implement security protocols (patching, firewalls, SSL certificates, intrusion detection, backups). Coordinate with web developers and designers to deploy updates, patches, and new applications. Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and standards for compliance and consistency. Optimise resources by tuning server performance and storage for scalability and efficiency Test and apply upgrades to hardware and software as needed. Support disaster recovery and continuity plans by ensuring backups and redundancies are in place. Build the front-end of the web application using React JS Qualifications and Work Experience Qualifications in IT or related field, or at least 3 years of experience managing and maintaining web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS) in lieu of formal qualifications Understanding of Linux/Windows server environments, hosting and DNS management Proficient in implementing security protocols — patching, firewalls, SSL, intrusion detection, and backups. Understanding of web frameworks used in insurance or financial services environments is not required, but will be highly regarded.
