Overview Job Description for Digital Networks Core Project Manager in Sydney. Responsibilities Manage the delivery of upgrades/deployment/technology introduction of Digital Networks platforms such as the Voice Core, Packet Core (4G, 5G) and Mobile Value Added Services such as Messaging, Prepaid and others across the Telecom Network from initiation to operational handover. Support and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams to ensure timely and successful project outcomes, with regular status updates to executives as required. Qualifications Several years of experience managing cross-functional delivery teams within the IT/telecommunications sectors. Tertiary qualifications in IT or engineering. Superior written communications skills; ability to deliver status updates to executives. Demonstrated analytical planning and forward thinking with the ability to conceptualise and create alternatives. Demonstrated leadership skills through high impact influencing and relationship building. Ability to operate effectively in different environments and respond appropriately to unexpected circumstances; handle ambiguity in a decisive manner. Proven track record in supporting a large team. Excellent administrative skills with an understanding of the program life cycle, project documentation, standards, tools and methodologies. Excellent business writing skills; ability to convey messages clearly and succinctly in various settings and styles.
