We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/ Plant Mechanic to join our dynamic team at Skips and Scrap Recycling in Tomago, NSW. This full‑time position will involve maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy vehicles and plant equipment to ensure our operations run smoothly. What you’ll be doing Conduct routine servicing and maintenance of a wide range of heavy vehicles and plant equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults across our fleet Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment What we’re looking for Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Plant Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years' experience Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer service skills Current driver’s licence and forklift licence (or ability to obtain) Sound knowledge of heavy vehicle and plant equipment maintenance and repair What we offer At Skips and Scrap Recycling, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
