The Opportunity As a Group Fitness Manager at Fitness First , you will drive change that is best for our people, our members and the industry. Reporting to the Club Manager, you are an integral part of our club, a role model, motivator and a brand ambassador. This is a part‑time role of 17.5 hours per week. Must be Available Mondays – 9:00 am - 2:00 pm Wednesdays – 10:00 am - 3:00 pm What You’ll Do Attract and recruit Group Fitness Instructors who live and love fitness Manage and timetable up to 100 Group Fitness classes weekly Help new Group Fitness Instructors become part of the team by coaching, motivating and inspiring them Build a culture where your team loves to come to work and members love to work out Create a fun and focused club experience by organising, marketing and running group exercises that meet our members’ needs Continue to raise the Fitness First standard by running energetic, focused and professional group exercises Manage Group Fitness budgets and prepare related reports Act as a role model, motivator and a Fitness First brand ambassador Provide an expert Fitness First experience at every touch point – acquisition, integration and visitation Willingness to comply with and carry out all implemented Work Health and Safety related activities and processes What You Should Bring A passion for and significant experience as a Group Fitness Instructor, ideally Les Mills or studio style Previous managerial experience in a health club or gym and a passion for developing people to perform at their full potential Experience in leading, mentoring and developing the performance of your group fitness instructor team Personable, dedicated and a big team player What We Can Offer You A passionate, energetic and supportive culture that makes you feel part of the Fitness First family from day one Flair for career mobility – Fitness First is part of FLG, allowing you to take your career anywhere from here A competitive base salary + Super A wide range of benefits, including a complimentary platinum FF gym membership Additional benefits such as anniversary leave days and free gym memberships for friends and family as part of our service awards recognitions Apply Now Please click ‘Apply’ to submit a resume that details your experience, attributes and achievements.
