We have Diploma Educator opportunities across multiple sessional kindergartens in the City of Melton and the Shire of Moorabool These break-cover roles are ideal for those seeking work–life balance and offer a fantastic opportunity to build experience in a sessional kindergarten environment. If you’re an enthusiastic educator looking to dip your toe into a new and exciting world, these roles are for you. All positions are ongoing and begin in 2026. Which role interests you the most? Cambrian Way Preschool : 2 hours per week on a Friday 12:00pm - 2:00pm Bridge Road Kindergarten : 10 hours per week on a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 12:00pm - 2:00pm and Wednesday 11:00am - 3:00pm Darley Kindergarten : 14 hours per week on a Monday, Friday 10:00am - 2:00pm and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 11:00am - 3:00pm. About you You’re reflective, curious and purpose‑led, with a deep commitment to making a difference. You’re open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child. You’re a critical thinker and collaborative team member. You have a drive to grow and improve continually. You value kindness and respect. You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations. You hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a WWCC, mandatory reporting certificate, police check and a first aid certificate. About the role You’ll create a supportive environment where children are safeguarded to learn and grow. You’ll develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework. You’ll build strong relationships with children, families, the community and colleagues.
