Manager Risk and Control Advisory and Delivery Join to apply for the Manager Risk and Control Advisory and Delivery role at Commonwealth Bank 12 Month Secondment/Max Term Agreement Opportunity About BB Line 1 Risk Chapter Our BB Line 1 Risk Chapter collaborates closely with Product teams to help them achieve their strategic objectives, with a focus on achieving NPS +30. In this role, you will support the Business Banking Payments teams in executing their end‑to‑end responsibility to manage and oversight risks across their products and services to deliver good customer outcomes. Your responsibilities include identifying, understanding, and effectively managing risks to keep the business in operating within the BB risk appetite. Key Responsibilities Provide risk support to the Domestic Payments Crew and the Payments Domain. Detect and formulate responses to changes in the internal and external risk landscape that may impact the business risk profile. Partner with the business to manage risks, compliance obligations and operations within risk appetite. Prepare reporting to accountable owners, governing forums and committees, to create transparency of risk outcomes. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the design and resiliency of business processes and compliance. Recommend the business on areas of prioritisation for investment, intervention and enhancement to mitigate risk. Partner and advise the business on preparing responses to issues, near misses, and emerging risks or threats to resilience. Advocate for the use of appropriate tools, practices and frameworks to enable execution of risk reduction and proactive risk management. Contribute to recommendations that support the execution of the business strategy, including strengths, vulnerabilities and enhancements. Qualifications Experience in financial services sector risk management with payments domain experience desirable. Proven expertise in the identification and mitigation of current and emerging risks via process improvements and control management expertise. Sound understanding and demonstrated competence of risk and compliance management policies and frameworks with exposure to data and technology risks preferred. Good problem‑solving skills, including the ability to use data‑driven insights to solve problems. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
