Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Traffic Management Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing top-tier traffic control guidance schemes (TGSs/TMPs) for major projects and contracts throughout WA. This role requires proactive and effective communication to liaise regularly with clients and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with Road Authority requirements. Key Responsibilities Design, amend, and maintain high-quality traffic control guidance schemes (TGSs/TMPs) in accordance with legislation, company policies, procedures, and relevant standards. Manage all permits and other relevant approvals in a timely manner. Monitor and maintain accurate records for submissions and renewals. Develop positive relationships with internal and external clients, councils, and regulatory road authorities. Implement plans and communicate operational requirements to the team. Conduct risk and hazard identification during development, clearly documenting controls in all plans. Requirements/Qualifications Current AWTM ticket or willingness to obtain. Minimum of 1 year traffic planning experience (more experience is highly regarded). Experience in constructing high-quality electronic site-specific drawings using AutoCAD. Sound understanding of the Traffic Control at Worksites Manual. Understanding of permit applications and council approvals. High level of attention to detail. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and smartphone-based application(s) software. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer service focus. Self-motivated with the ability to be proactive and solutions-driven with tasks. Personal Attributes Ability to pass a high-level medical assessment and a Drug and Alcohol Screen. Capability to satisfactorily complete English literacy and numeracy tests. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to problem-solve and show initiative. Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions. Well-groomed and presented.
