Senior Wellbeing Navigator - Yarra Ranges Join Wellways Australia as a Senior Wellbeing Navigator Peer in Belgrave, VIC. Full‑time, senior level role focused on Intentional Peer Support (IPS) principles and lived experience, supporting participants with complex mental health needs. Salary: $51.00 – $53.31 per hour (SCHADS Level 5B) + Leave loading + Salary packaging. About This Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Wellbeing Navigator Peer to join our Support and Connect Team. This consumer lived‑experience role draws on your IPS expertise to provide meaningful, values‑driven peer support to participants facing long‑term mental health concerns, trauma, or social disadvantage. In this leadership role you will model IPS principles, mentor and co‑reflect with peer staff, and foster a culture that respects and amplifies the voice of lived experience. Responsibilities Lead peer practice using IPS and lived experience, supporting participants with complex mental health needs. Model IPS principles and nurture a culture of lived experience. Offer mentoring and co‑reflection to peer staff. Ground work in human rights, trauma‑informed care, and recovery‑oriented practice. Actively support reconciliation and culturally safe services for First Nations peoples. Qualifications Personal experience of distress, trauma, mental illness and/or substance use with a willingness to draw upon your recovery journey. Completion of Intentional Peer Support Core or Advanced Training. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Consumer Peer Work role. Well‑established understanding of peer support values, practices, and principles. Current valid Driver’s License and ability to travel for the role. Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check. Right to work within Australia. Satisfactory National Police Record Check (less than 12 months old). NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
