Project Manager Water Renewals Urban Utilities – Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Your opportunity: We have a newly shaped Project Manager role within our Operations and Maintenance group. This role delivers a high volume of minor capital and asset renewal projects across our water and wastewater networks, ensuring assets remain safe, compliant and serviceable while reducing risk and improving public health and environmental outcomes. Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of maintenance projects from scoping and planning through to delivery, cost tracking, risk management and handover to BAU. Co‑ordinate internal civil delivery teams and external delivery partners to execute works efficiently, safely and within scope. Juggle competing priorities while maintaining clarity of scope and bringing consistency and discipline to the delivery of numerous short‑duration projects. Work closely with field teams, delivery partners and technical specialists to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. About you: Enjoys a fast‑paced environment coordinating many small projects. Brings structure, consistency and transparency to delivery even when juggling dozens of minor jobs. Strong planning, communication and problem‑solving skills. What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Science, Finance, IT or related field (desirable). Project management qualifications or progression toward PMP (advantageous). Minimum 3 years’ experience in project delivery, ideally within utilities, construction or civil/maintenance environments. Knowledge of project management methodologies, scheduling, cost control and risk management.
