Lead Product Designer CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP) is a global provider of commercial and residential real‑estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. The Role This position is part of a new team within the Audience division and will work closely with Product and Engineering to develop new opportunities and optimise existing ones focused on connecting users looking to buy or sell homes with relevant agents and agencies. Responsibilities Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and SEO to oversee the user experience from conception to launch. Contribute to strategic decisions, shaping priorities and scope during planning. Design and prototype solutions that meet customer needs and achieve business outcomes. Conduct research to build empathy for customers and evaluate solutions during delivery. Work collaboratively within a cross‑functional scrum team to ship high‑quality products at high velocity, balancing trade‑offs and constraints. Lead or facilitate workshops to foster collaboration and alignment. Key Relationships Upwards: Product Design Manager (direct people manager), Head of Design. Peers: Product Design Leads. Downwards: Product Designers and Senior Product Designers. Outwards: Senior, Principal and Head of Products, Tech Leads. Experience, Education, and Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related role. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of user‑centred design projects. Experience conducting user research and usability testing. Demonstrated ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs. Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG). Experience with design systems and contributing to their development and maintenance. Experience working on B2C products. Comfortable with experimentation and using data to inform design decisions. Ability to mentor and coach other designers. Benefits Hybrid working. First‑rate parental leave.
